In the HTTPS Web Client, users who have been granted Account Settings access can modify their contact information, theme, display settings, and address book.
Set a Theme
Setting up your theme lets you change the web client’s overall look.
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click on the drop-down menu next to Theme.
- Select a Theme from the menu.
- Press Update to apply changes.
Security Questions
If you forget your password and need to reset it, it and your administrator allows you to reset your password. You can reset it by answering a security question that you previously chose. You can change the security question and answer in the Account Manager.
- Select the Security Question you would like to change.
- From the Security Question drop-down menu, select a question.
- Enter your answer to the question in the Answer field.
- Click Update
Display Settings
Display local Date/Time: Will display timestamps with local Date/Time Ex: 07/07/17 5:00 PM
Display Relative Date/Time: Will display the timestamp in a Relative Format Ex: 30 Minutes ago
Auto Upload Selected Files: Will present the familiar upload confirmation row from previous versions and allow you to upload your specific files out of the presented list
Preview Files Before Upload: Will attempt to render a preview image of your file before uploading.
Auto Clear Successful Uploads: This will allow users to have uploads auto-clear success notifications at the bottom of the screen. A single notification toast at the top of the page will notify users.
Open File in New Browser Tab: Will open files in a new browser tab. This configuration option controls whether clicking on a file in the web client results in opening the file in the current window or opening a new tab to display the information. This is equivalent to a browser’s “Open link in new tab” being selected as the default click action for files in CerberusFTP’s web client.
Display File Table Condensed: Will condense the size of the table view in the web client
Display File Table Striped: Will display alternating colors between files and folders on the table in the web client.
Address Book
The address book enables you to store lists of recipients and their email addresses. Email addresses from the address book can be selected when using the share by email feature.
Users can create a CSV file of names and address to upload multiple contacts at the same time. The CSV should have a header row, then the contact information in the order of First Name, Last Name, and email address:

Pressing the 'CSV Import' button will present a dialog where you can select a CSV to upload.
