Remote Push/Pull Files

Is it possible to have automation of pick up of files from another server? I know we have ability to push files to another server; but, I can't figure out how to pick up/get files.

Hi. I just wanted to pass along, included in Cerberus version 12.1.0. In the Event Manager, the Transfer File Target now allows retrieving files from another server via SFTP, FTP, FTPS, and HTTP/S GET

Thanks for providing us with your feedback. To answer your question, there isn't a native way to pull or retrieve files from another FTP server in Cerberus. To accomplish this, you would need to create a batch file that would launch an FTP Client or you could execute this with a command line client like cURL to connect to another server.

Cerberus currently doesn't have the functionality to pick up files from another server. I would like to gather some additional information for our product team if possible could you answer the following questions from our feature request guidelines page?
- What is the problem that this feature would fix?
- Why is it a problem?
- Is there a workaround you currently have for this problem?
- Do you have a suggestion on how you would like to see the problem fixed?
- How big is the problem? Who is affected by this problem? (End Users, Admins, etc.)

Dana - We have clients that have files on their server that we need to retrieve very similar to the push function. Without this functionality we have to do scripting in another tool and either use 2 tools or not use Cerberus for this functionality. Preference would be that we could do all push and pulls from the same tool.
