Concerning the Trigger:

IP Blocked Event

This event is triggered whenever the server adds an IP address to the block list.

 

 

I'd like to have an event to let me know when an IP is blocked - but not all the time. I'd like to filter on the reason the IP was blocked.

Mostly I want to know about a DoS block or a "too many login attempts" block, but I can't filter on the reason for an IP Block.

If it's blocked because they used one of my banned user names, I don't want to see that email. I do have an event set up to email me after every IP Block, but the email doesn't contain the reason. 

Anyway, I'd rather it just didn't send the email at all.

  I haven't tested this yet, but "Reason IP Address Was Blocked" is now available as a condition variable. If it works, this should be marked as "Completed".
