Folder monitoring
Hi,
Is it possible to add something to watch for file activity at a OS/disk layer. Effectively watching a folder for files deposited.
E.g. not via a cerberus action such as an account logon.
I have a number of users with mapped drives. They put files into specific folders, as part of automation it would be ideal if Cerberus could run a script to move these files to the external services used. It would help streamline data flow steps if it is possible,
Many thanks
Richard

I have this same situation (or really similar, anyway). My work around was a Scheduled Task (every minute) that kicks off a batch file that does all the file operation I need.
There are File Operations available in a scheduled task too, but I haven't played with them much.
I needed to handle files in a bunch of directories and it was easier to do a quick script and maintain it there.

Also need Cerberus to watch a folder and copy files to a backup folder as they are copied into and FTP launch folder.

I also have this issue and followed up with support recently. Still don't see this as available functionality. It would be really awesome to be able to trigger event rules based on folder or file monitoring to then run a script or SFTP a file

Hello Tyler, thanks for your comment. We are considering several features that will dramatically expand the capabilities of Folder Monitor, including the exact functionality you are looking for. We have added your comment to the feature request so that our Product Manager is aware of your desire to see it in a future release. At this time I still can't say if and when we'll get it into a future release, but it is very much on our radar. Thank you and take care -- Ian Butteriss, Cerberus Support.
