Long directory path of 256 characters

Good day! Faced a problem with a long directory path of 256 characters.
Files and folders are created when 256 characters are exceeded, but they are not overwritten or deleted (until you shorten the path).
I understand that this is a problem on the side of OS Windows, but can I add a function that issued a warning that the path is longer than 256 characters?
