Projects - directory-centric view

PROBLEM
The Cerberus server GUI is totally orientated around users and groups, ie look at a user/group, and see which directories they have access to.  For us (and I expect most organizations), we also want to view a directory (project for us), and see which users/groups have access to it.  Browsing the NTFS drive does show me the actual folders & files, but does not tell me who has access.

REQUEST
We would like the GUI to list each directory (project), along with which users/groups have access to that directory (and ideally what level of access).  And be able to add/remove users/groups to this. Much like how in the Microsoft world, we create a folder on the server, share it, and then define who has access to the share and NTFS access. Ideally too it would also show who has inherited permissions, defined in a parent object.
