This is very valuable feedback, Jeff. I will take this back to the appropriate teams here at Cerberus.

    Hello, Jeff.

Again thanks for the feedback. I had a question for you. Have you had a chance to use the latest version of Cerberus? (Version 12) If so, you may have noticed in the Web Client we added an auto-upload option. Is this something that you might find helpful for public shares as well?

Thank you for following up. That would be helpful but auto-upload seems to only work for the account owner that enables that setting. That functionality does not carry over to public shares when they are accessed by a guest without an account.

To clarify, I am more concerned about what’s included on the public share pages. When you create a public share for hidden uploads, the area outlined in red is useless and just adds confusion for less experienced computer users.

The page layout depicted in the image below is less confusing.

    What do you think?

There's four types of public shares:

    Allow downloads
    Allow uploads
    Allow hidden uploads
    Allow both downloads & uploads

Currently, public shares for downloads do not include the upload section on the page so it would make since to hide the download section on hidden upload only shares.
