Nested folder permissions
Is it possible to nest virtual folders or break permission inheritance on sub folders?
On our current system we've got multiple clients that require some more complex permissions and we'd like to mimic the same views on this platform.
Example:
ClientA
- User A has access to the top level folder called 'Client Folder A'
- User B has access to 'Client Folder A' but cannot see 'Subfolder C' or 'Subfolder D'
Currently User B would see 'Client Folder A' which then expands to 'Client Folder A/Subfolder A' and 'Client Folder A/Subfolder B' in the list but not 'Client Folder A/Subfolder C' or 'Client Folder A/Subfolder D'
Is this a feature that is available?

Hi Matthew, if this is a native Cerberus user, right now you will need to assign the subfolders directly to 'User B' as there is no way define the visibility of subfolders. We do have an existing feature request for defining permissions on subfolders, so I will add your scenario to that request. Subfolders can be set to 'hidden' in NTFS for AD/LDAP users and, as long as they log into Cerberus using username and password, Cerberus will impersonate the user and will grab their file and folder permissions from the domain controller.
