Write out event queue number to a log or windows eventlog

currently event queues are only displayable from the summary page once enabled in the advanced settings - I would like to be able to capture this number from Logic Monitor or Splunk so that I can put some enterprise alerting in for example "if event queue number =>X then alert" however there is no way currently of trapping the current event queue size/number.

  This would be a useful feature to know when we are being overloaded with connection requests
