    Hello Eleveo,

Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this enhancement request. For every enhancement we submit to our product team, we have a set of questions that we liked to have answered by the request.

    Namely:

    • What is the problem that this feature would fix?
    • Why is it a problem?
    • Is there a workaround you currently have for this problem?
    • Do you have a suggestion on how you would like to see the problem fixed?
    • How big is the problem? Who is affected by this problem (End Users, Admins, etc.)?

That way we have full context around the enhancement we're submitting. If you could take a moment and just make sure these questions are answered, I'll be happy to get this over to our Product team.

What is the problem that this feature would fix?

    • It will allow download of files using shared public links from Linux/Windows command line. Currently "wget" or "curl" could not be used when "Require Welcome Acknowledgment" is enabled

    Why is it a problem?

    • In Command line you cannot "check/select" acknowledgment checkbox as you have no UI, neither browser

Is there a workaround you currently have for this problem?

    • no, we had to disable "Require Welcome Acknowledgment", but we want to have it enabled. It's not workaround, its degrading functionality we require (meaning Acknowledgment, where we have Terms of Service)

Do you have a suggestion on how you would like to see the problem fixed?

    • Under "Require Welcome Acknowledgment" option add another one called "Exclude Acknowledgment for Public Share links"

How big is the problem? Who is affected by this problem (End Users, Admins, etc.)?

    • Medium. Our internal employees are affected when they are installing our software to customers (we are B2B) and they need to download some files from linux command line on remote side.

So we now need to choose between 2 options

    1. Let customers and partners accept Terms of Service on login page but disable our employees using public share links during installation of our software from command lines and we need to find different solution which are another costs

    2. Does not have accepted Terms of Service by customers and partners, but allowing our employees work as needed.

Thanks so much for taking the time to fill in the blanks here, I'll get this wrapped up and sent over to our product and engineering teams for their review. Once we have an update to provide, we'll do so either here, or through a ticket!
