    Hello Marc,

Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this request. In order to get this over to our Product & Engineering teams, I'll need to make sure the following questions are answered:

    • What is the problem that this feature would fix?
    • Why is it a problem?
    • Is there a workaround you currently have for this problem?
    • Do you have a suggestion on how you would like to see the problem fixed?
    • How big is the problem? Who is affected by this problem (End Users, Admins, etc.)?

If you could shoot me a quick update with answers to the above, I'll be happy to get this over to the appropriate teams for scoping.

    Hi Connor,

    Please see comments below:

    • What is the problem that this feature would fix?

Would allow notifications to be sent when the Folder Monitor event has deleted files from end user folders.

    • Why is it a problem?

Currently unable to create an Event Rule for email notification from Folder Monitor events as they are a Server Action and not a User Action.

    • Is there a workaround you currently have for this problem?

No, there is no workaround available that I or the Support Team are aware of.

    • Do you have a suggestion on how you would like to see the problem fixed?

Either an Action option is added to the Folder Monitor event or a new Event Rule Type is created

    • How big is the problem? Who is affected by this problem (End Users, Admins, etc.)?

It is a 'would like to have' for the End User community.

Please let me know if you require any further information.

    Marc

Thanks so much Marc! I'll get this wrapped up and send this over to our product & engineering teams for their review. Once we have an update to provide, we'll reach out here, or through a ticket.
