Policy setting, Disable Account Last Login Exceeded

If I add the setting Disable Account Last Login Exceeded 180 Days.

When does it take acction? 180 Days from today or 180 Days from existing users last login?

 

Do I have to restart server to activate the setting?

  Hello, Krister. 

   

  When you enable the Policy "Disable Account Last Login Exceeded" it's based on the last login date of the User. 

  The last login time needs to exceed 180 days in your case. However, if the user has never logged in then there isn't a "last login date" those accounts will remain active. 

   

  Restarting the server shouldn't be necessary to activate this setting.
