Shell access is not permitted
CompletedI am testing 11.2.5.0 (we currently use a much older version).
We are using Tectia as our sFTP Client and Cerberus as our sFTP Host.
I've got new system configured as similar as I can, but I am getting "shell access is not permitted" when trying to test my Tectia connection to Cerberus.
I cannot find any setting that sounds even remotely similar to shell.

Hi, Russell.
The problem is Tectia is an SSH shell client, not an SSH SFTP client. Cerberus does not support an SSH shell.
In order to use Cerberus, you will need to use an SSH SFTP client.

We've been using Tectia and Cerberus for years now.
Our production version of Cerberus is 7.0.60.
Is this a change on the Cerberus side?

Version 7.0.60 is about five years old but Cerberus has never implemented SSH shell support.
Cerberus supports SSH SFTP only. I'm not that familiar with Tectia, other than what I have read on the site quickly.
Maybe it has an option to act as an SSH SFTP client? Your current error indicates that the client is sending shell commands.

Yes, we've been using Tectia and Cerberus for over 5 years now.
I can't even get the public-key to work, but password does.
Can you tell me the port that the shell process is listening on.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say the port the shell process is listening on.
However, Cerberus listens on the following ports:
21 FTP
22 SSH SFTP
80 HTTP
443 HTTPS
990 FTPS
I would recommend if you are still testing under a trial license to reach out to our support team. Once you have gotten past your application issue, our team can look at your logs to see if there are any problems on the server-side.

Thank you for all your help so far!
I do have 3 new licenses (Production, Development and QA).
I've applied the DEV license (We are testing latest software for compatibility).
Should I open some kind of support ticket for this issue?
