    Hello

    Thanks for reaching out.  Yes, it is mandatory to have an ipstack account in order to use Geolocation.  From our support article Country and IP Restrictions

    Geolocation allows the administrator to block incoming connections coming from a geographic location.

     

    For this feature to work correctly you must sign up for an account at ipstack.com.

    Thanks for those in formations. 

    I see that free plan is limited to 100 request by month.  How can I check if it uits my need (it seems to be very few) and what wwill happend if I'm over this limit regarding cerberus

    You would need to monitor your average connections to determine if that fits your organizations need.  If you go over the limit, there is an option called "On Geolocation Service Failure" which controls what happens when the server is unable to reach or get a valid response from the geolocation service. If Allow Connections is selected then the connection will be allowed to skip the country block check. If Deny Connection is selected, the connection will always be blocked if a response is not received from the geolocation service.
