It's crucial to understand how your Cerberus FTP Server license works, especially if you've transitioned from a perpetual license to a subscription.
Perpetual Licenses (Purchased before April 10, 2023): If you purchased your Cerberus FTP Server license before April 10, 2023, you own a perpetual license. This means your current software version will continue to function indefinitely. However, your perpetual license does not grant you ongoing access to technical support or future major version updates beyond its initial expiry date.
Subscription Licenses (Purchased after April 10, 2023, or Renewed from Perpetual): All Cerberus FTP Server licenses purchased on or after April 10, 2023, are subscription licenses. This is also true if you previously held a perpetual license but have since renewed into a subscription.
The key difference is that subscription licenses will expire and stop working past their expiration date. To maintain continuous access to Cerberus FTP Server, you must renew your subscription before the License Key Expiration date.
