An upgrade is a change from one edition of Cerberus to the next (Professional to Enterprise, for example).
The Cerberus upgrade policy is to credit you for the last paid invoice on your existing license edition. We'll apply the pro-rated value paid for your existing license subscription toward the desired upgrade.
Example: If you paid $1,599/yr for the Professional edition on a three-year term and wanted to upgrade to Enterprise six months in, you would get a credit for $799.50 towards the Enterprise license subscription. For the upgraded Enterprise 3-year subscription term (billed annually), you would receive the credit on the Year 1 invoice billing.
Year 2 and Year 3 would be billed at the full Enterprise list price amount.
